FocusWriter 1.4.2 released

I have made a minor FocusWriter release, version 1.4.2. This release is mostly about fixing a few bugs (for example, it no longer crashes when ignoring words during spellchecking), and to add initial Qt 5 support.
Along with this release I have also removed my Ubuntu personal package archive as it was simply too much effort to maintain packages for both the OBS and PPA. If you are an Ubuntu user do not worry, you can still get updates through my OBS repository.

I followed the instructions to use the repo mentioned above but despite using “sudo” I keep getting a permission denied error from the command line.

Sorry, I should have mentioned this was for xubuntu 12.04

Hm. When I tested it I did all the steps as root by doing “sudo su” to become root, instead of trying “sudo” on every command. Does it work if you do that?

In my system Ubuntu 12.10 using “sudo” nor “sudo su” did’t work either. As a workaround, just add the repository using synaptic: menu of synaptic, Settings > Repositories > Other Software > Add … and in APT line just add: deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:gottcode/xUbuntu_12.10/ /

That makes sense. It’s always puzzling when the instructions don’t work for anybody but me. Sadly, those instructions are provided by the OBS so I don’t know if I can change them.

I’m not sure what you mean, all of the links download 1.4.2 for me. The info bubbles had the wrong GPG signatures, which I fixed just now.
I don’t pre-screen comments for anything other than spam, so your comment was published before I even saw it. Sorry.

I meant to GPG signatures. I do not use Javascript so I copy a location of a GPG signature and get the relevant file from there. Concerning to comment publication: I did not want my comment to be published because it is redundant, in this case, in my opinion, at least 😉

@noemail I see. My website uses HTML redirects, not Javascipt, for the downloads (unless you make a donation, and even then I provide a direct link to the file).
